Vamos a hacer un poco de HISTORIA, gracias a la COLABORACION de PHILLIPS, que nos deja un ENLACE para tener un punto de vista sobre el ITALO DISCO....

Italo disco es un término que refiere a varios tipos de música disco, pop y dance europea que fueron desarrollados durante la década de 1980 en Italia, Alemania, España y otras partes de Europa. La música Italo disco tiene un sonido distintivo y futurista que se creó con sintetizadores, cajas de ritmos, y vocoderes. Durante los años 80, el término "Italo-disco" se usó en Europa para describir todos las producciones de música dance no basadas en el Reino Unido, incluyendo algunas de Canadá. En el Reino Unido y los EE. UU., el Italo-disco fue prácticamente desconocido para los consumidores centrales. Unos de sus máximos exponentes en toda Europa fueron Modern Talking, C.C. Catch,Fancy y Bad Boys Blue. Unos de los compositores mas exitosos de este genero fue Dieter Bohlen que realizo producciones Italo Disco durante toda su carrera dejando un gran legado musical en Europa.
