SILVER POZZOLI - Around My Dream (1987)

SILVER POZZOLI, cuyo verdadero nombre es SILVIO POZZOLI, fue junto a DEN HARROW, LEE MARROW y P. LION, uno de los artistas más conocidos del "ITALO DISCO DE LOS 80". Alcanzó el éxito en las pistas de baile en 1985, con su primer sencillo "AROUND MY DREAM", de su primer álbum del mismo nombre. Ese mismo año se reeditó el tema en un remix, convirtiéndose de nuevo en un éxito, que ya no volvería a repetirse en sus sucesivos trabajos. La canción combina una base ritmica repetitiva, inspirada en el sonido que la formación TECHNO-POP “WANG CHUNG” habían hecho famoso con su “DANCE HALL DAYS”.

Su primer grupo fue "CLUB HOUSE" con quienes empezó en 1983. El primer trabajo de esta formación fue un vinilo compartido con “MIKO MISSION” y su famoso “THE WORLD IS YOU”, con “CLUB HOUSE” en la cara-B con el tema “DO IT AGAIN/BILLIE JEAN”; pero el tema más conocido del grupo fue “I'M A MAN MEDLEY YEKE YEKE” de 1987. Con este grupo ha ido editando trabajos intermitentemente hasta 2006.

Desde 1993 perteneció al grupo "ALARME PSM" hasta su disolución en 1995.

A lo largo de su carrera ha colaborado con diferentes artistas. En 1985 colaboró con los productores “TURATTI & CHIEREGATO”, para cantar el que sería uno de los éxitos de "DEN HARROW", "MAD DESIRE", antes de que a TOM HOOKER se le ofreciera el rol de vocalista. También trabajó con DAVID LYME, participando en los coros y producción artística de "BAMBINA", en 1986, y "NEVER SAY YOU LOVE ME" en 1988. Su nombre también aparece en los créditos de una larga lista de artistas como EROS RAMAZZOTTI, SERGIO DALMA, VASCO ROSSI, ZUCCHERO FORNACIARI Y MONICA NARANJO, entre otros.

SANDY MARTON - The Best (2000)

ALEKSANDAR MARTON nacio en Zagabria, Croacia, el 4 de Octubre de 1959. Con el seudonimo de MR. BASIC, graba en 1983 su primer single "Ok Run", producido con la colaboración de Claudio Cecchetto. Al año siguiente, con el nombre definitivo de SANDY MARTON, lanzó al mundo una canción absolutamente simple pero pegadiza hasta la extenuación: "People from Ibiza". El tema tuvo tanto éxito que hasta fue utilizado por las autoridades de la isla mallorquina para sus campañas turísticas internacionales.

Aca les dejo un compilado con sus temas, editado en CD en el año 2000 por la Discografica MR MUSIC de Italia. Espero que lo disfruten...
